One of the major causes of illness is the inability to regulate the nervous system. In a world where we are over-stimulated, over-scheduled and over-worked, our nervous system becomes stuck in fight or flight. In this workshop, you will learn basic practice techniques to engage in the art of mindfulness.
By integrating these daily practices, you are retraining your nervous system to fluidly engage between rest and stress.
Stress response is a very important function of our nervous system which keeps us safe, but, not as often as it’s being used. This is putting our bodies immune system at risk as the body is in a constant state of fear and stress.
Please join me, as I guide you through techniques that have brought me deeper into my heart and further away from worry, guilt and anger. Begin to understand the language of your body in a way that will bring you greater awareness.
